"For Destruction Ice Is Also Great And Would Suffice"

The snowfall we had yesterday broke several records, as you can see here. That's a lot of snow, I don't care who you are. Here's something interesting. By the way, I can hear you saying "I'll be the judge of that."
The snow was so deep, and heavy, that light coming up from the depths was blue like a glacier, or a mailman having to walk in it.

  1. Isn't it funny (odd, funny) that the heaviest year for snowfall was the 1954-55 year....the year you were born. It's also odd that you've been living in Alaska for every heaviest snowfall except for 1948-49...the year I was born!!

  2. By the way, I ended up riding my bike to work today in spite of the snow. I had thought about driving, but realized I would need a metal detector to find my car.
It really was hard work walking through the snow, it was like aerobics, weights, yoga, pilates, and, I don't know, kegels all rolled into one.

  3. I have been here for a lot of snow, you're right. This winter has moved from 11th snowiest to 6th.
